Gail Shannon is teaching how to improve your quilting skills.  This class is designed for new as well as seasoned sewists.  Let's learn how to "unwonkify" those blocks and let's see some borders that don't ripple!  Gail is going to show you how!

 

Students Will Need:

  • Your machine in good working order WITH THE MANUAL. Be familiar with your machine. 
  • Basic Sewing Kit including small scissors and…

 

                Additional Supplies Needed for Class

Ø  Ever Sewn Measuring Gauge

6” x 24” ruler or 6½” x 24” (look at them to see that the marking is good for you)

12” x 12” ruler or 12½” x 24” (look at them to see that the marking is good for you)

Quarter inch machine foot (if you have one)

Rotary Cutter

Bobbins for your machine (wind two)

80/12 sewing machine needles

100% cotton thread, grey or cream (and colors as you wish) 

  Mechanical pencil and small notebook is helpful

·        Two fat quarters; one of them solid.

Ø  Fabric FOR 32X32 FINISHED PROJECT: 

o   One Charm Pack (5x5 size)

o   3.4 yd Blackground (light)

o   ¼ yd binding

o   1 yard backing.

 

This course starts from the beginning to hone your skills and improve the final product.
