Grab that denim jacket and create something unique and one of a kind!  Gail will share with you various techniques to make a fabulous jacket!

BASIC SUPPLY LIST FOR CLASSES:
Sewing machine, pedal and cord for second class.
and sewing supplies to include:
 Rotary cutter with NEW blade;
 NEW needle in machine;
 pins, clips,
 thread for piecing,
 scissors
 seam ripper
 Long ruler for cutting: Approx 6” x 24” for cutting
 12x12 ruler helpful
 Your own ironing station: iron and pad
 Your own cutting station: mat and rotary cutter
SPECIFIC FOR THIS CLASS:
 Jacket or Denim piece of your choice. Goodwill and thrift shops are good for this
project.
 Pattern Ease (1/2 yard)
 Steam-A-Seam (1 yard)
 Erasable fabric marker
 Temporary adhesive spray, or fabric temporary glue (?)
 Top stitch threads
 Light blue or grey thread for bobbin so to blend on inside
 Patterns of any SHAPES (like a heart) you might want to put on the jacket.
 Trims, fabrics, buttons, other items you would to put on your jacket. I will help you
design with color and placement in mind. Each person will have something different.
