Intro to Sew: In our private lesson we are teaching the children 8 years and older, how to properly operate the sewing machine.
- The students will learn how to wind a bobbin and thread the machine.
- They will learn what the functions are of the sewing machines and the tools needed to sew.
- The students will sew samples of the various stitches and then they will apply the skills they’ve learned to stitch up a drawstring bag.
- All materials are included in the class fee $95
Class Policies:
- Full payment is due to secure your spot upon signing up for a class.
- 100% of class fee is transferable to another class if cancellation is done at least 48 hours before class. This allows us to offer your spot to an individual on the waiting list and it ensures that our teachers will be compensated for their time.
- Classes can only be rescheduled once and must be used within 30 days
- No-shows forfeit any refund or exchange.
- When enrolled in a class, and the student only attends a portion of the class, no “make-up” time or credit is given for missed class time.
- Classes are formatted to teach the necessary material in the scheduled time. Should you not finish your project, you may register for a Sewing Lab to receive instruction necessary to finish your project.
· Our classroom space is reserved for our registered students.
***We realize that things come up, illness, etc. Should this happen on the day of your class, please call to cancel. We have a waiting list for our classes. We will put you on a waiting list for another class. This “make up” period is for 30 days. We cannot guarantee a make-up session, but will do the best we can.
