Kids' Summer Camp #3 Design a Plushie July 31-August 3 10am-1pm

Our summer camps are four days long and a great opportunity for the children to keep their brains active in the break from school.  We're continuing to work on critical thinking skills, math skills, and most importantly our sewing skills.  Students must know how to operate a sewing machine (completion of Sewing 101 is prerequisite).  Minimum age is 7 years old.

Camp #3  “Design a Plushie”  Who doesn’t love a good plushie? This class is more than just a stuffed animal.  This class is about learning how to form fabric from a flat textile to a 3 dimensional object.  We’ll learn how sewing darts and curves can create a character with form and shape.  We’ll also learn about the embroidery machine and how it will give personality to the facial features of our characters.
