Kids’ Creative Lab
This is an opportunity for students 10 years old and older, to work on individual projects. All students in this program begin with elastic waist shorts/pants. After completing the initial project, the students are on their own with guidance from the instructor to choose a project that suits their individual style. The students will work with commercial patterns and learn the terminology and techniques required to successfully complete a project.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday classes meet once a week for two hours
**You don’t need to sign up for the entire month. You have options! You can sign up for 3 dates for $55 (but they don’t need to be consecutive, but need to be in the same month- for example, 2 Tuesdays and 1 Friday ), or pay as you go, $20 per two hour class. *The pay-as-you go option is subject to availability. Classes fill up quickly and those who have paid in advance have a reserved space.
*new students pay a $15 registration fee.

If the full tuition has been paid and you find out that the student can’t attend all three dates (and you notify the change of date to The Sewin’Asylum prior to the start date of the class) a class credit will be applied to the following month or if possible a make-up date can be arranged.
We understand that unexpected events can prevent a student from attending one class in a session. If you are not able to attend, please contact The Sewin’Asylum at least two hours prior to the start time of the class. No credits or refunds are given for missed classes. When you contact us prior to a missed class, we will do our best to arrange a make-up, however, we cannot guarantee a make-up date will be available.
If you must cancel a class (meaning the student will not be attending any class in that one-month session), please do so 24 hours prior to the class. A failure to do so, you will forfeit a refund.
Class dates and times are listed in the class schedule and on the website. If you are unable to attend all of the class, you are still responsible for the full class fee. No make-ups are given for missed class time.
